Today’s 66 HORROR FLIX examines the “Satanic Panic” era heavy metal horror, TRICK OR TREAT. The film stars Marc Price as Eddie Weinbauer, a high school outcast and heavy metal loving teen. His world collapses when his favorite singer Sammi Curr (played by Tony Fields) mysteriously dies. But like so many farewell tours, this is not the end for Sammi Curr, but it will be for others. This film is hard not to love, and with great cameos by Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne its easy to see why our host Jim Towns was so drawn to this film and why it’s a perfect fit for 66 HORROR FLIX.
