66 HORROR FLIX Presents: SEASON OF THE WITCH (1972)

Today on 66 HORROR FLIX we honor one of horrors greats that has recently passed, George A. Romero.  The name George Romero is synonymous with NIGHT OF THE LIVING  DEAD, DAWN OF THE DEAD, etc.  The 1972 film SEASON OF THE WITCH was written, directed, shot and edited by Romero himself. It also had the very excellent tagline “Every Night is Halloween”.  Learn more about the film in this weeks 66 HORROR FLIX with horror director Jim Towns.

(Fun fact: SEASON OF THE WITCH was shot in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, the same place Jim Towns grew up in.)
